Learning Objectives
This university course offers to the student a general picture about the history of parties and political movements in Italy, beginning from the post unitary years up to the crisis of the “First Republic”.
Particular attention will be devoted to the “Giolitti age”, to the crisis of the liberal State, to the reconstruction of the parties in the second postwar period and their stories in the period of “centrismo” and the center-left government.

Type of Assessment
The final exam has the purpose of ensuring the acquisition of the skills and knowledge provided by the objectives. The exam is about an oral test, a conversation whith the professor in order to verify the elements learned during the study and the student's capacity of independently handling the period and the themes treated.
