Collecting informations. Description of qualitative and quantitative variables. One and two-way frequency distributions. Events, probability, axioms. Conditional probability and Bayes theorem. Random variables: Bernoulli, Binomial, Normal.
II module
Random sampling. Sampling distributions. Point and interval estimation. Estimators and their properties. Confidence intervals.
III module
Theory of hypothesis testing. Tests for a mean, a proportion, for the comparison of two means and of two proportions. Test of independence. Regression.
