The first part of the course is devoted to the presentation of the fundamental concepts of the methodology of social research (method – in the epistemological debate - techniques, concepts, statements) and of the methodological problems of empirical social research, considering the perspective of the two most important investigation strategies: the quantitative and the qualitative. The second part of the course is devoted to the study of some of the research techniques as the interview with questionnaire and the depth interview, the participant observation.
