The course, which is divided into three parts, offers a micro/macroeconomic perspective on the labor market analysis. The first part is a survey of the different analytical approaches to the study of the labor market. The second part consists of an exposition both of the competitive and non competitive labor market models. We will finally focus on the unemployment/inflation trade-off and on the possible policy choices.
